J3263 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for an Application & Project Support Analyst to work within the Business Change and Infrastructure team and responsible for the administration and support of company business applications. The position also requires support of system changes and projects working closely with the Business Change analysts.

Understand key systems in use within company and provide assistance on a day to day basis.
Become a fully competent systems administrator in a variety of applications , including ALFA, Engage, Assist/Sprint and APAK, Alfa Business Rules Engine, Connect.
Manage workload and help desk tickets.
Work with Application providers to ensure smooth running of systems and that SLA’s are adhered to.
Provide application support to the Business on a day to day basis.
Deliver key areas of internal changes such as online documents, work flows, products.
Troubleshoot issues in order to identify the root cause in order to provide solutions.
Continuously improve existing application support processes and ensure that documentation for system administration is kept updated
Work with the business change team where further support is required to resolve issues or to implement changes.
Provide some basic technical IT support to the Business when required.
Completion of supplier reviews for application providers, ensuring reviews are completed and signed off by the due dates.
Involvement in a variety of projects.
To provide support to the Business Change team for system changes and projects as required
To be responsible for understanding and implementing system configuration required in support of new or changed functionality.
Good working knowledge of the Asset Finance Industry and products offered.
Strong application knowledge.
A willingness to see a task through to full completion and appropriate handover.
Initiative to take on issues and liaise with members of other teams to resolve problems.
Logical troubleshooting capability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organise and run workshops with business users to gather requirements for changes within applications.
Quality and objective analysis of data and process.
Good understanding of Microsoft packages, Office, Visio and Project.
