J3572 – Internal Relationship Manager (12-Month FTC) – UK, Surrey / Greater London (Hybrid) – Asset Finance
New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for an Internal Relationship Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an immediate starter, joining on a contract running to December 2026, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

The purpose of the role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor, dealer and broker partners, delivering best-in-class service while maximising volumes and profitability. This predominantly office-based role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation and organisational skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with introducers and customers through regular contact to ensure a steady flow of business.
Act as a primary contact for introducers and customers for transactions under £250k and general daily queries.
Proactively follow up on leads, discuss requirements, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
Work closely with External Relationship Managers to manage and develop assigned accounts.
Promote value-added products and identify opportunities aligned with business strategy.
Qualify deals, assess creditworthiness and prepare credit proposals in line with policies.
Structure transactions to meet customer needs while ensuring commercial viability.
Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory standards.
Monitor introducer performance and recommend improvement strategies.
Manage deals end-to-end (quote, credit, documents, payout).
Collaborate with internal departments and contribute to sales meetings and process improvements.
Person Requirements
Experience in Financial Services, ideally Asset Finance or Leasing, with strong commercial acumen.
Proven ability to manage introducer relationships and generate new business.
Confident in qualifying deals, preparing credit proposals and managing transactions through to payout.
Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
