New Leaf Search has partnered with an international provider of business-to-business financial solutions in its search for a Business Development Manager, Manufacturing.

Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, flexible location – preferably South of Leeds and East of Bristol (Remote).

The Role
This is a proactive new business role focused on identifying, developing and managing profitable opportunities within the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will build new relationships with introducers and end customers, while also managing selected existing introducer accounts.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, global asset finance business with a strong market reputation and a compelling growth strategy within manufacturing and hard asset sectors.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop new business relationships within the manufacturing and hard asset markets.
• Generate leads through client visits, networking, introducers, events and digital channels.
• Build and manage a structured pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team to drive sustainable growth while managing risk.
• Conduct sales meetings with prospective clients using a balanced in-person and remote approach.
• Deliver product and sales training within allocated accounts.
• Achieve agreed sales and portfolio targets.

Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in asset finance or equipment-related financial services.
• Strong track record in new business development.
• Sound understanding of leasing, HP and loan products.
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and collaborative.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and customer behaviour.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
